FSB Russia officers detained former deputy head of the Main directorate of the ministry of internal affairs for the Krasnodar Region Alexey Cheburakov.

Searches were conducted at his home. According to the source, the measures are related to a criminal case involving the large-scale production of counterfeit cigarettes. Back in 2025, five underground factories were identified in Kuban, producing counterfeit cigarettes.

At the same time, it was established that a large group of law enforcement officers was involved in this business. As a result, several employees of the FSB Directorate for the Krasnodar Region, Cheburakov, the head of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the Main directorate of the Ministry of internal affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Region — Zalutsky, and his deputy Zabrovsky were removed from their positions.

Cheburakov was hired by the «Incity» Group after his dismissal. Zalutsky and Zabrovsky also got jobs there.
