The Traber case has been closed: all charges against Antikvar have been dropped

"The icing on the cake" in the scandalous story surrounding the dropping of charges against Ilya Traber (Antikvar).

In the photo is Antikvar himself in Moscow, with the notorious hitman Denis Zeikan slightly behind him; Zeikan had been working as Traber’s driver and bodyguard in the capital. And here is Zeikan with Leps.

And here he is with the boxer Alisultan Nadirbekov, who was arrested alongside Taber for the murder of Alexander Petrov, the ‘boss of Vyborg’. And here is Zeikan with a rifle fitted with a telescopic sight. We do not know whether Petrov was killed with this rifle, but we can say with certainty that he was eliminated by a group that included Zeikan. And he himself, at the very least, took part in the surveillance of Petrov. Zeikan is currently in custody on another charge – also a ‘murder’ case. Nadirbekov also remains in pre-trial detention.

As for Traber, he is a free man. With a single wave of the hand, all the evidence against him was thrown in the bin, and he himself has been forgiven. Everything has returned to the situation that has been dragging on since the 1990s, when ‘Antikvar’ began building his own graveyard.

Murders are taking place; everyone knows who ordered them, but he remains untouchable. A couple of weeks ago, our project published the memoirs of a man who knows Traber well. According to him, the Antique Dealer often reminisced about his victims and always spoke of them in glowing terms – what wonderful people they were. And then he would smile and add: ‘Wonderful, but stupid.’ And he certainly knew what he was talking about.
